Is this a sales call?
No. The checkup and the 15-minute review exist to figure out whether insurance-based retirement options even fit your situation. Sometimes they do not, and I say so.
What does the review cost?
Nothing, ever. There is no fee for the checkup, the result, or the call.
How do you get paid?
If you choose a contract, the insurance carrier pays me a commission. You never write me a check. You should expect any agent to answer this question exactly that directly.
Is my information sold or shared?
No. What you share goes to one licensed agent — me. It is never sold or resold to call centers or lead lists. No spam calls or texts. Ever.
Are you a financial advisor?
No, and I say so on purpose. I do not hold a securities license and I do not manage investments. I am a licensed insurance agent and annuity specialist. The one category I work in, I explain plainly — including who it is wrong for.
Are you a fiduciary?
A fiduciary duty is a legal standard that applies to registered investment advisers, which I am not. When I recommend an annuity, Washington's best-interest standard for annuity recommendations applies to me under state law. Ask me this on the call — I would rather explain the difference plainly than dodge it.
What is a fixed indexed annuity?

What states do you work in?
Washington. If you live elsewhere, I am not licensed to help you yet — and the checkup tells you that upfront rather than wasting your time.
Is there a minimum?
These contracts generally make sense for people with meaningful retirement savings — the checkup sorts that out honestly rather than pretending otherwise. If it is not a fit, the result says so and points you somewhere useful.
What if it turns out this is not for me?
Then you hear exactly that, in those words. You leave knowing more than you came with, and nobody hounds you afterward.
