Hi, I'm Eric Lenhardt. I'm a licensed insurance agent here in Washington, and Granite Point Retirement is my company. Before you take the checkup on this site, you deserve to know who's on the other end of it. It's me, not a call center. Your information doesn't get sold to anybody, just one licensed agent.

A little bit about me. I served two tours in Iraq with the Army before I turned twenty. I spent more than twenty years around this industry, first as a top producer in life and annuities, then building products that solve hard problems, including software for veterans dealing with PTSD. I came back because the protection options I wished existed back then finally do.

Here's what I actually do. I help people who are close to retirement understand a category of insurance options designed to help protect their savings from market losses, and I'll be straight with you, these options are not for everybody. They limit growth in exchange for protection, and they lock up money for a period of years. Part of my job is telling you when they're the wrong fit.
